PDF, Number Theory and Representation Theory

The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the areas of number theory and representation theory commencing in Fall 2020. The position will initially be for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second. It will include a teaching component of at most one course per year and also funding for research-related travel.

Applicants specializing in infinite-dimensional Lie theory or automorphic forms are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a PhD in mathematics or physics prior to the start of the fellowship.
