The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University invites applicants for an open-rank tenure track position to start at the beginning of Fall 2021. Candidates in all areas of mathematics will be considered.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an outstanding record in research and teaching. Candidates at all career stages are encouraged to apply. For applicants to a senior rank position (associate professor or professor), preference will be given to those having current or forthcoming extramural research funding transferable to FIU. Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, student mentoring, mathematical research, and service to the department, university and profession.
