STANFORD UNIVERSITY The Department of Mathematics at Stanford University seeks to hire one or more Lecturers. The possible appointments are for one year, beginning in September 2021; at least one may have the possibility of renewal for an additional one or two years. Outstanding candidates from any field of mathematics are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to show demonstrated excellence in teaching, and will be expected to teach courses primarily at the undergraduate level. They must have received the PhD prior to the start of the appointment, but not before 2019. Applicants should send a CV and list of publications; brief statement of teaching experience, along with any supporting information (teaching evaluations, teaching awards, etc.) which indicate teaching ability; a teaching letter and two additional letters of reference.
