In association with the creation of a new Centre in Geometry, Dynamics, and Learning (CGDL), we have an opening for a member of faculty to join NTU at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This Centre is envisioned to foster the development of new methods coming from Geometry, Topology, Dynamical Systems, and Stochastics for the solution of problems in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical Control, Shape Analysis, and Robotics. NTU provides a rich environment for interdisciplinary collaborations in these areas, including the Robotics Research Centre and the Computational Intelligence research lab at the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or closely related fields. This position may be held jointly between the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences and the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
