Applications are invited for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin on August 16, 2022. The candidate hired will be expected to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate level, supervise masters and doctoral students, and publish original research in peer reviewed journals. The research area is open, but should be compatible with current faculty. The primary service component is to be the unit’s calculus coordinator. A PhD in mathematics, statistics or a related field is required, however some post doctoral experience is preferred. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, research statement, and a teaching statement. Applicants should highlight evidence of their experience or ability relevant to guiding efforts to improve student success in calculus courses.
