Multiple Senior Lecturer/Reader Positions in Statistics & Data Analytics Vacancy Reference: 070807 Salary: Grade, 9, £53,348 -£60,022 per annum.

This post(s) is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open-ended basis.

The School of Mathematics & Statistics is looking for enthusiastic candidates to join the rapidly and substantially growing Statistics & Data Analytics group. The School and the Statistics & Data Analytics group foster a collegiate and supportive environment, encouraging collaborative research within and across disciplines. These positions are a result of strategic investment into our AI3 initiative of Analytics and Inference Innovation for Impact to further enhance leadership, staff interests and expertise within the group, for more information see https://gla.ai. This initiative combines our existing success across research and teaching innovation into a centre of excellence in the areas of statistics, data analytics and applied data science.

Applications for these posts are welcome in any areas of statistical methodology, data analytics and data science that complement the existing strengths within the School. We offer an inclusive environment that particularly encourages applications from those within under-represented groups in our discipline, and from those with interests at the interface of computational statistics and data science. We are seeking applicants that could lead related research within the School and contribute to our very successful and expanding online distance learning and on-campus MSc programmes in Statistics & Data Analytics.

The following positions, which are equivalent to US tenure track Associate Professor are available:

Senior Lecturer / Reader in Statistics and Data Analytics

• The School are looking to make up to 2 open ended appointments. • Available on the Research & Teaching track. • Attractive start-up packages are available.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade.
