The University of Luxembourg is looking for its Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), Department of Mathematics, for 1 post-doc in Data Science.


Your Role
  • Research in one or more of the following topics: statistical modelling, (interpretable) machine learning, sports analytics, analysis of (sports) medicine data
  • Research dissemination at international conferences
  • Teaching activity of 2-4 hours per week
  • Active participation in and support of the organization of the activities of the research group

What we expect from you
  • PhD (not dating back more than 7 years) of high quality
  • Research experience in at least one of the following topics: computational statistics, machine learning, bioinformatics
  • Experience in programming languages
  • Autonomous worker with good organizational and analytic skills
  • Very good written and oral skills in English
