The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia seeks highly qualified candidates to fill Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Associate positions beginning in August 2022. This position is anticipated to be of two years duration, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. Teaching duties are the equivalent of three semester long courses per year. In addition, Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Associates are expected to participate in the research life of the Department, including the pursuit of an original research program. Applicants must exhibit potential for significant research and high quality teaching. A Ph.D., or equivalent foreign degree, in Mathematics or a related field is required. Applicants are encouraged to identify a member of the current faculty with whom their research aligns. Complete applications (including letters of recommendation) must be received by December 31, 2021 to ensure full consideration, but review will continue until the positions are filled.
