Postdoctoral ResearcherThe position will be embedded in the project "Combinatorial and implicit approaches to deep learning”, which is part of the Priority Programme "Theoretical Foundations of Deep Learning" (SPP 2298) of the German Research Foundation (DFG) www.spp2298.math.uni-muenchen.de.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Machine Learning / Deep Learning as well as one or several of the following: Optimization / Combinatorics / Polyhedral geometry / Algebraic geometry. About the location: MPI MiS is an international center for pure and applied mathematical research in Leipzig, Germany.
