Eligible candidates must hold a PhD before July 30, 2022. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The visitor will teach five courses during the 2022-23 academic year. The specific courses will be finalized with the visiting professor, but are expected to include courses in multivariable calculus and statistics. The candidate will also have the opportunity to engage in the department’s undergraduate research activities such as senior thesis, and math-in-industry senior capstone projects.

Harvey Mudd College is a highly selective liberal arts college of engineering, science, and mathematics. It is located in Claremont, CA, which is approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The College enrolls about 900 students, almost all of whom live on campus, and is a member of the Claremont Colleges, which comprises five undergraduate colleges and two graduate schools.
