The UNT Mathematics Department invites applications for the position of Instructional Lab Supervisor, starting in summer or fall 2022. This is a staff position with a 12-month appointment. The Instructional Lab Supervisor assists with the instruction of labs and recitation sections in large enrollment entry-level mathematics courses, particularly those aimed at supporting TSI (Texas Success Initiative) incomplete students co-enrolled in credit-bearing entry-level mathematics courses. Duties include recruitment, supervision, monitoring, evaluation and counseling of undergraduate teaching assistants and tutors; work with faculty to continually improve the curriculum and technology used in labs and recitations supplementing large enrollment entry-level mathematics courses; and coordinate with other offices on campus to design interventions to improve student success, particularly for student populations that do not arrive at UNT "college ready."

Minimum qualifications are a Master's Degree in a related field and two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
