The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in some area of Mathematics, demonstrate an active research record with the potential for exceptional research, and exhibit excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, the successful candidate will teach regular mathematics undergraduate and graduate classes and should show an interest in Mathematics Education and be prepared to teach some courses related to the new concentration in Math Ed within our MS program. An appointment at the Associate Professor level may be considered depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding.
