Position Description
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Cologne is looking for a postdoctoral researcher (f/m/x) in probability theory. YOUR TASKS » Position Overview: We are seeking an outstanding and highly-motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in probability theory. Ideal candidates will have a doctorate in Mathematics (or a closely related field) and demonstrated expertise in probability theory, particularly in the study of random media, such as percolation theory or processes in random environments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the DFG Priority Programme (SPP 2265) ‘Random Geometric Systems’, on cutting-edge topics at the intersection of geometry and probability.
