Non-Tenure-Track Norbert Wiener Assistant Professorship
Applications are invited for one non-tenure-track Norbert Wiener Assistant Professorship to begin September 1, 2013, and lasting three years. Doctorate required. Applicants must show promise of outstanding research in one of three general areas: (1) geometric group theory and topology (including knot theory), (2) algebraic group theory and Lie theory, (3) probability and stochastic processes. Preference will be given to candidates whose interests overlap with those of Tufts faculty in these areas. Applicants must also show evidence of excellent teaching. The teaching load will be two courses per semester.
