Visiting Assistant Professor, Hobart and William Smith Colleges
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a potential visiting faculty position in mathematics to begin in the Fall of 2013. This is a one-year full-time leave replacement position. A strong commitment to teaching is required. Duties include teaching five undergraduate mathematics courses over two semesters. Experience with and/or interest in working in a multicultural environment are highly desirable.
Application: Candidates with a Ph.D. in mathematics by August 2013 are strongly preferred but A.B.D. with teaching experience will be considered. An application should include a cover letter, a statement of teaching philosophy, three letters of recommendation (at least one including comments on teaching), and a graduate transcript (scanned copy acceptable).
