The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate in the area of computational topology beginning in August 2016. A Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences or the equivalent is required. Candidates with strong promise in research and teaching are encouraged to apply. The teaching assignment is 2 courses per year, expected to be 1 in the fall semester and 1 in the spring semester, and participation in the research activities of the department is expected. Some additional support for travel is possible.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be for one-year with the possibility of a one-year renewal contingent on satisfactory performance and funding.
