The Department of Mathematics at Colgate University is accepting applications for a tenure-stream, full-time position in analysis at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning fall semester 2016. Completion of a PhD in analysis (with primary research interest among the MSC numbers 26-32, 42-49, 60) is expected prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in the department, and contribute to curricular development through upper level undergraduate courses in analysis.

Colgate University is a highly selective, undergraduate, liberal arts college of 2900 students situated in central New York. Faculty members teach five courses per year; all faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
