Department/Division / Job Summary:
The Mathematics Department at Western Oregon University invites applications for a one-year full-time NTT Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2020-2021 academic year with a possibility for a second-year renewal (pending final approval).

Responsibilities include teaching four classes per term from a spectrum of undergraduate courses for majors, non-majors and K-12 pre-service teachers. The successful candidate will be passionate about liberal arts education and have a commitment to undergraduate teaching. Start Date: September 16, 2020 

We are not considering candidates who require Visa sponsorship support. Additionally, the university typically only considers visa support for employees placed in specialized positions that are continuing regular university appointments.

Qualifications:

  • ·         PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics Education is required.
