Position Description:    

Monmouth College invites applications for a one year visiting assistant professor in Mathematics to begin August 2020. We are looking for candidates that are interested in teaching at all undergraduate levels of the mathematics curriculum. Formal evaluation of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Monmouth College is a selective, private, residential liberal arts college in Monmouth, Illinois. The department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science offers majors and minors in computer science, mathematics, and data science. A full teaching load at Monmouth College averages three courses per semester with two semesters per academic year. Competitive candidates will exhibit strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting.
