Position Description

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University invites applications for a 12-month contractually limited appointment as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor. The expected start date for this position is September 1, 2020.  The teaching commitment for the position will be six courses spread over the duration of the appointment.

We seek candidates with an advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Mathematics or Statistics with a record of successful teaching at the university level. Preference will be given to individuals who can contribute to our popular undergraduate program in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, but we invite applicants from any area of mathematics and/or statistics.
