Mathematical Institute, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University (Prague)

invites applications for a postdoctoral position in partial differential equations and infinite dimensional dynamical systems.

The position will be funded by the project "Partial differential equations describing far-from-equilibrium open systems" awarded by the Czech Science Foundation (PI: Miroslav Bulíček). There are no teaching duties and knowledge of Czech is not necessary.

Applicants should have working knowledge of nonlinear partial differential equations, dynamical systems. Applicants with experience with structure formation in fluid dynamics are especially welcome.

The duration of the position is one year with possible extension. The starting and ending dates are negotiable, but not later than January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022. A sooner start is prefered.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University is leading institution in mathematics in Czech Republic, with highly motivated and well educated students in our mathematics programs.
