The Mathematics Department at the University of Houston invites applications from candidates working at the interface of applied or computational mathematics and quantum information science for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We are particularly interested in someone with expertise in quantum information science who would continue to broaden the research performed in the existing research teams at the Mathematics Department and develop strategic connections with other departments at UH in mission critical areas related to quantum computing, quantum communication or quantum information theory. The Mathematics Department is seeking outstanding candidates with the potential for exceptional research, excellence in teaching, and clear commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, graduate and undergraduate student population.
