College of the Ozarks invites applications for a full-time faculty position in mathematics, with responsibilities to include teaching, advising, and service to the College. This position requires a master’s degree in the mathematical sciences (Ph.D. and higher education teaching experience preferred). The successful candidate will have a broad background in mathematics and the capacity to effectively teach the entire spectrum of the undergraduate curriculum, including general education courses. Teaching assignments will also reflect the candidate’s interests and expertise. The ability to teach physics or statistics is desirable. The starting date is August 2021. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is on a track leading to a multi-year letter of appointment.

The successful candidate must embrace the College’s Christ-centered mission and demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate students, a commitment to serving as a mentor and positive role model, and an interest in the relationship of mathematics and Christian faith. College of the Ozarks is a small (1,500 students) liberal arts, a work-study college with a commitment to Christian faith and service located in southwest Missouri near Branson.
