Non-Tenure Track Research Professors at KAIST

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) invites applications for a non-tenure track research professor position beginning from March 1, 2021. The starting date may be adjustable, however.

Applications are accepted from any areas of pure, applied, and interdisciplinary mathematics. Successful applicants must demonstrate outstanding accomplishments or potential in research and teaching.

This is a full time position for one year, which can be renewed for another one year.

We plan to hire two faculty members for this position.

A competitive salary of 3,000 USD (net income) per month will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of candidates.

The regular teaching load is one course (at least 3 credits) per semester (spring and fall). All courses at KAIST are taught in English. An eligible applicant must have at least 1 year of working experience as a post-doctoral researcher.
