Faculty Position in Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, and Computation 

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma is experiencing an exciting multi-year period
of growth and development. We encourage well-qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, and Computation beginning August 2021. 

Normal duties consist of teaching two courses per semester, conducting research, and rendering service to the department, university, and profession. 

Expectations 
Applicants should have an earned doctorate, postdoctoral experience and should have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. We seek strong candidates working in Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, and/or Computation. Preference will be given to applicants who complement the department's existing research groups in Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry and Representation Theory. However, outstanding candidates in all areas of Algebra and Number Theory will be considered.
