The University of Lynchburg is an independent, co-educational, residential university, founded in 1903, located in the Central Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The School of Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Mathematics and Statistics to start August 2021. Duties include teaching courses in Mathematics and Statistics, developing new courses, supervising student research projects, service to the University and community and conducting individual research. Teaching experience is preferred. A doctorate in Mathematics is required. All are invited to apply (some graduate Statistics coursework is a plus). The candidate must possess a record of teaching, scholarship and service commensurate with the appointment.
