Includes faculty and teaching responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in a mathematics, sciences, or related curricular area required. Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college. Minimum 1 year experience in an instructional, tutorial, or academic lab setting. Demonstrated experience with application of technology to classroom or lab settings. Ability to supervise and coordinate personnel and programming. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience at the community college or university level. Research or familiarity with student success scholarship. Tutoring certification and experience in developmental education. This position has faculty and teaching responsibilities as well as responsibility for coordination and effectiveness of the Science and Mathematics Academic Tutoring Labs.
