The Ohio State University is seeking highly qualified and skilled Lecturers and Senior Lecturers to teach undergraduate foundations courses in computer science, including topics of logic, discrete math, graph theory and algorithms and analysis of algorithms. We are currently hiring for Autumn 2021. The current teaching load for full-time lecturers is roughly seven courses over the fall and spring semesters combined. Summer teaching may also be available, depending on demand. Teaching schedules are flexible. The positions are full-time and non-tenure-track. Qualifications:
An MS in Computer Science or Mathematics is required; appointment as Senior Lecturer requires a PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics or extensive relevant experience. Applicants with mathematics degrees should have backgrounds in combinatorial or applied mathematics. Excellent teaching abilities are essential.
