This posting has an August 2022 (previously Aug 2021) start date, and is a tenure-track position in Taylor University's Mathematics Department.  

Qualifications: 
Candidates must have a personal, vibrant faith and Christian walk and be strongly committed to the educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University. Candidates will be expected to affirm the Taylor University Life Together Covenant, Statement of Faith, and essential documents. 

Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. ABD will be considered, as will a Master’s with considerable work experience in data science or data analytics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Mission and departmental fit are of primary importance, but extra consideration will be given to those with demonstrated expertise in statistics and/or data science. The ideal candidate will help establish a dedicated Data Science major in the department, in conjunction with the Computer Science & Engineering department and other campus partners.
