Postdoctoral Research Associate in Applied and Computational Mathematics Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana The Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) at The
University of Notre Dame invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in Applied
Mathematics to begin in August 2021 or after. The initial contract will be for one year, which
could be extended if sufficient funding becomes available. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics,
Computational Neuroscience, or a related field by June 2021, and have a strong background in
computational mathematics. The postdoc will collaborate with Dr. Robert Rosenbaum on a
research project extending predictive coding models of biological perception and learning.
Candidates who have interests in working on projects related to machine learning and/or
computational neuroscience are in particular encouraged to apply.
