Appointment to the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow is mainly intended to provide qualification for work in top academic positions. It is a prerequisite that the applicant is able to carry out the project over the full course of the employment period. No person may hold more than one fixed-term position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the same institution.

The project/position's field of research
The position will be attached to the project “Symmetry, Curvature Reduction and Equivalence Methods” (SCREAM) funded by the GRIEG initiative for Norwegian-Polish collaboration. The project is concerned with the investigation of geometric models related to parabolic geometries possibly equipped with additional geometric structures, see http://cft.edu.pl/grieg. ;

Particular tasks will be related to the computation of symmetries, curvature reductions and differential invariants of various geometries, their supersymmetric analogs and relations to dispersionless integrability of partial differential equations via the twistor program. The group is active in applications of Lie-theoretic methods to Cartan geometries and the formal theory of differential equations.
