The University of Toledo College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department of Mathematics and Statistics Visiting Assistant Professor Applications are invited for one or more one-year, non-tenure track visiting assistant professor positions beginning August 23, 2021. Applicants must demonstrate a record of or show strong promise in teaching and research with preference given to those having research areas of interest to the Department. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or have Ph.D. expected by August, 2021 in one of the mathematical sciences or a related field. Candidates with a Master’s degree may be considered for appointment at the Visiting Instructor level. Prior teaching experience is required. Teaching load is typically 12-15 contact hours per semester, and assignments may include large multi-section lectures and supervision of recitation teaching assistants.
