The Department of Mathematics at Fordham University invites applications, subject to final budgetary approval, for a Lecturer position. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, to begin in Fall of 2021, with an initial term of one year, and with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the unit. 

Lecturers' duties normally consist of teaching 4 sections of 25-35 students in each of the fall and spring semesters. Candidates will usually have earned a Ph.D. in some area of pure or applied mathematics and have shown potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching, but we will also consider candidates of demonstrated teaching excellence whose highest degree is an M.Sc. 

We are especially interested in candidates who have had success in teaching introductory, terminal and service courses, who have shown the ability to meet the needs of diverse student populations and who are committed to a student-centered and innovative pedagogical practice
