GRINNELL COLLEGE – DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS – ONE-YEAR TERM POSITION IN STATISTICS (START FALL 2021). GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a one-year appointment in Statistics beginning Fall 2021. Applicants at the Assistant Professor (Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related area) level are preferred; Instructor (ABD or foreign equivalent) or Associate Professor possible. The teaching schedule of five courses over two semesters may include courses at all levels of our undergraduate statistics curriculum. Candidates who have experience teaching data-driven courses, courses with hands-on projects, or undergraduate research projects will receive strong consideration.
