The Department of Mathematics at Boston College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, to begin with the Fall 2021 semester.  There is the possibility that the position could be renewed for one or two additional years. Candidates should be excellent teachers and researchers; we are particularly interested in candidates whose research interests align with those of our faculty. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load. A PhD in mathematics by time of appointment is required. Applications must include a curriculum vitae, teaching statement, and four or more letters of recommendation, with at least TWO addressing the candidate’s teaching qualifications.
