Carroll College, a Catholic
liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana is seeking two one-year
visiting faculty positions in mathematics beginning in August, 2021. We seek
engaging teachers who use interactive methods and current technologies and who
would support our mathematical modeling-oriented program. Successful candidates
should be interested in teaching a wide range of mathematics courses. Responsibilities include teaching 24 semester
credit hours per year. Candidates must
have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a
closely related field. Candidates with a
doctorate in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
preferred. The Mathematics Program at Carroll graduates
8-12 students per year, many of whom go on to graduate school in mathematics
and related fields. The mathematics program also provides strong support to
several disciplines on campus, particularly data science, computer science,
physics, engineering, chemistry, and biology.
