| The Department of Computer Science of Haverford College welcomes applications for full time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2021-2022 academic year. Responsibilities will include teaching the equivalent of five courses over the two semesters; our primary need is for introductory (CS1 and CS2) lecture and discussion sections, as well as discrete mathematics. There may also be opportunities to advise a set of senior thesis projects. Candidates in all areas of Computer Science, Mathematics, and connected fields are encouraged to apply. Haverford College is a small, selective, liberal arts college located 10 miles outside of the center of Philadelphia and on a regional train line. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (ABD considered) and excellent teaching skills and experience; familiarity with computer programming and its relationship to mathematics/logic is a plus.
