We seek a research group leader for a permanent post. The successful candidate can work in any area of mathematics and should hold a PhD degree awarded within the last 5-12 years. The position comes with a substantial recruitment package including resources to appoint at least three junior group members (postdocs and/or PhD-students) and discretionary research funds for the first five years. Umeå offers excellent working and living conditions. The working environment is international and very family friendly, as exemplified by a generous allotment of 480 days paid parental leave for each child.
