Advanced candidates may have a later opportunity to grow within the department through potential future promotion opportunities such as non-tenure-track assistant professorship. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should hold either an M.S. or a Ph.D. in mathematics (or related discipline such as applied mathematics or mathematical statistics), but candidates with an M.S. or Ph.D. in a closely-related discipline (such as Physics or Engineering) with 18 credit hours of graduate mathematics coursework in their degree may also be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience at a university or state college. |
