(Level D/E) $147,685 to $189,518 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

The University of Adelaide is seeking a senior academic to lead the Discipline of Statistics in the School of Mathematical Sciences and contribute to the School's strategic priority of expanding its research and educational offerings in data science, broadly construed.

This is an opportunity for an emerging or current academic leader to join a top-ranked team with ambitious plans for the future. To be successful you will need:

Record of research excellence in statistics or data science with recent high-quality publications and strong plans for future research. Demonstrated ability to win significant research funding. Demonstrated ability and broad experience in teaching, with a record of successful curriculum development and pedagogical innovation. Ability and willingness to provide leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of the School. Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. In addition to the above, for appointment to Level E you will also need:

Demonstrated ability to win significant and sustained research funding. Record of academic leadership and contributions to strategic development. Enjoy an outstanding career environment
