Postdoctoral position in Harmonic Analysis and Discrete Geometry We invite applications for a postdoctoral position at the Department of Mathematics at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, within a research project on Harmonic Analysis and Discrete Geometry. The project is directed by Nir Lev. The position is intended to involve an excellent candidate in a research project on the interaction between Harmonic Analysis and Discrete Geometry, dealing with topics such as: tilings and multi-tilings, convex polytopes, quasicrystals, dissections and rearrangements (Hilbert’s 3rd problem), orthogonal and non-orthogonal Fourier analysis, Fuglede's spectral set conjecture, frames and Riesz bases. The start date is expected to be October 1, 2022. The position is for one year with an option for renewal. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary / fellowship plus a travel allowance, and can benefit from interaction with the members of the analysis groups at Bar-Ilan University and at the neighboring Tel-Aviv University. Candidates should have a strong background in analysis and research experience in harmonic analysis or closely related areas. The application materials should be submitted online and should include:
To receive full consideration, applications should be submitted before December 31, 2021. |
