Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor to begin September 1, 2022. This search will focus on the area of mathematical finance, broadly construed. The Department has long-standing strength in this area and plays a leading role in interdisciplinary educational programs in computational finance at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. In addition, the Department graduates Ph.D.'s and supports post-doctoral fellows working in mathematical finance.

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research and have a vigorous research program.
