Department of Mathematical Sciences Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematical Sciences Ball State University

The Department of Mathematical Sciences is seeking applications for a full-time contract faculty position in Mathematical Sciences beginning 8/19/2022. Primary instructional responsibilities include teaching courses in mathematics education and other courses as assigned. Responsibilities for this position involve teaching four courses per semester and professional service.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in mathematics education or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment, with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in mathematics education or mathematics; current or previous teaching licensure or certification; at least two years of K-12 teaching experience. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the college level in undergraduate classes. Master’s degree in mathematics education or mathematics from an accredited institution by date of appointment. Doctorate degree in mathematics education with experience or interest teaching online.

Required Certifications/Licensures: Current or previous teaching licensure or certification.
