Qualifications

Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in mathematics or closely related fields and have demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and the potential to make significant research contributions.

Duties

Job responsibilities include teaching three courses of undergraduate mathematics courses per semester (9 hours per week), offering office hours for teaching and advising, participating in departmental services, and continuing to pursue a successful independent research program. In addition, a new mathematics faculty member is expected to develop and enhance the mathematics minor curriculum and add new courses in areas of their specialty.
