Widener University is currently seeking a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences to start fall 2022. Primary responsibilities will be teaching 9-12 credits of undergraduate mathematics per semester, primarily for science and engineering students, maintaining active scholarship, and participating in academic citizenship at all levels of the university.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Ph.D in Mathematics. ABD candidates may be considered if the degree will be completed by May 2022.

* Experience teaching mathematics at the college/university level

* Excellent communication skills, and

* Demonstrable excellence in teaching, and a research plan that will allow them to publish in their field.

Preferred:

* Experience teaching mathematics at the college level as the instructor of record.
