In all searches, we seek candidates who have demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching and mentoring and who have established an active and productive research program. We are also always specially interested in candidates with substantial experience in inclusive pedagogical practices that support the success of first-generation college students, women, and historically underrepresented groups, whose specialties give promise of leading to research collaborations with our permanent faculty, or who have applied their work integratively in collaborations with researchers in non-mathematical disciplines.

In this search, we seek a new senior member to develop the applied tracks in our major, to strengthen our new Mathematics/Computer Science joint major and our continuing Mathematics/Economics joint major, and to build new bridges to other disciplines.

We particular encourage applications from candidates with a strong background in area(s) of mathematics with integrative computational applications, broadly interpreted, including but not limited to: scientific computation in the physical and life sciences; mathematical foundations of areas of computer science such as complexity, artificial intelligence and data analysis; and, unconventional/alternative computation.
