The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Vienna invites applications for two postdoctoral positions in the framework of the ERC project "Refined invariants in combinatorics, low-dimensional topology and geometry of moduli spaces" in the group of Anton Mellit. The positions are planned for a period of two years. Starting date is flexible. There are no teaching duties. Salary (approx. EUR 55200 p.a.) is calculated according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Staff.

The main topics of the project are:

1) Cohomology of affine Springer fibers, Higgs moduli spaces and character varieties

2) Enumerative geometry of surfaces and threefolds

3) Affine and double affine Hecke algebras, elliptic Hall algebras, cohomological Hall algebras, and their representations

4) Skein algebras and representations of quantum groups

5) Homological knot invariants

6) Shuffle conjecture and related combinatorics
