Fellowship Description:

The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship as part of the Simons Collaboration on Global Categorical Symmetries, beginning Fall 2022. This is a joint physics and mathematics research program focused on the interplay between quantum field theory, topology, modular categories, higher category theory, and representation theory. Further information about the Collaboration and its research activities can be found at .

Candidates are expected to show outstanding promise in research relevant to the Collaboration themes as described at the above link. Postdoctoral fellows will be mentored by Charlotte Ann Griffin Assistant Professor Julia Plavnik and will join thriving Mathematics departmental research groups in algebra and topology.
