founded in 1940, is a division of the American Mathematical Society (AMS),
located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in a beautiful, historic building close to the
campus of the University of Michigan. The AMS is an association of professional
mathematicians dedicated to the interests of mathematical research and
scholarship. MR has a staff of 75, including 17 PhD mathematicians, and serves
researchers and scholars in the mathematical sciences by providing timely
information on peer-reviewed articles and books, published online as
MathSciNet. Mathematical Reviews’ mission is to develop and maintain the
MR Database from which MathSciNet is produced. The editors are employees
of the AMS; they also enjoy certain privileges at the University of
Michigan. An Associate Editor is

willing to learn new topics in pure and applied mathematics. The ability
to write well in English is essential. The applicant should normally have
several years of relevant academic (or equivalent) experience beyond the

opportunity for study leave (sabbatical), and a generous vacation policy. The review of the applications is
ongoing and will continue until the position is filled. Applications should include the
