The Department of Mathematics at the University of Denver invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor position to begin September 1, 2022. This is a non-tenure track position that is renewable annually, with the possibility of eventual promotions to higher ranks (Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor) and longer term contracts. The successful candidate will teach seven undergraduate courses over a three-quarter academic year, participate in curricula development, serve on departmental and university committees, contribute to assessment of the program and assume other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Candidates must have a PhD degree in mathematics by September 1, 2022 and must show evidence of high quality teaching of mathematics at the collegiate level. We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated experience or commitment to engage effectively with historically underrepresented communities.
